I am a 4th year medical student working to better understand the dynamics of neuronal networks and how to control them. In the lab, I am involved in the analysis of electrophysiological recordings from primary neuronal cultures and cerebral organoids (spike detection, functional connectivity, graph theory and control engineering). To this end, I am developing and implementing new computational research tools. My dream is to develop and promote technologies and treatments that benefit human health as a clinician-researcher. Specific fields of interest include neurodevelopmental disorders, neuroprosthetics and brain-machine interfaces.
