I am a Master's student in the MPhil for Basic and Translational Neuroscience. In my master's thesis, I compared the development of average controllability in MEA recordings from cortical cultures and experimentally validated this metric at the cellular-scale by electrically stimulating individual nodes predicted to have high or low controllability based on their spontaneous activity. This project will for the groundwork for future experiments in the group to drive network activity neuronal networks during MEA recordings.
