Her postdoctoral research focused on understanding (1) the effect of Mecp2 deficiency on network dynamics in two-photon calcium imaging and (2) the developmental trajectory of network topology in human cerebral organoids. Rachael is the architect of MEA-NAP, our network analysis pipeline, bringing together scripts from other group members, the wider neuroscience and network science community, and from her own methods development research. She mentored many students in the group and assisted many of our collaborators with experimental and computational challenges.
