My undergraduate thesis research focuses on identifying temporal dynamics in our MEA recordings of spontaneous network activity using non-negative matrix factorisation analysis. Prior to starting my undergraduate thesis research, I was a summer intern at SAND Boston learning how to grow and record from human-derived cortical neurons on the Axion MEA plates. I also served as a user tester for the MEA and calcium imaging network analysis pipelines.
